My dear mum slipped quietly away from us on Monday 22nd October at Fremantle Hospital. Mum, you were my mum, my friend, my mentor, my kid's beloved little nana. To be half as good as you, I'd be a better person today until the day I die. You will always be in my heart, my thoughts, no matter where I am. I will always remember our week together in Newcastle, just us two drinking coffee, you smoking, me eating cream cakes. It was the best! Mum, I can see you now, smoking your beloved smokes and arguing politics with dad. I'll love you always. God Bless.
