Joan McDonald passed away October 2nd in Richfield, Joan was 98. Joan was preceded in death by husband, Philip Darby McDonald and son, Ty Richard McDonald. Joan & Philip were married August 28th, 1951. Joan was a loving mother and grandmother. She dedicated her life to raising her 4 sons, Jim, Maple Grove MN, Kurt, Savage MN, Brad, Oklahoma City OK, Ty, deceased. She has 5 grandchildren, Jenna, Philip, Terry, Rebecca, and Maureen. Great Grandchildren, Harriet, Minna, Wesley. Joan was passionate about her Christian faith and was very involved in her church, Hope Presbyterian. A celebration of Life will be held Friday, October 24th, at Hope Presbyterian Church, 7132 Portland Ave, Richfield, MN 55423. Review at 10:00AM, Service at 11:00AM. In lieu of flowers a donation can be made in Joan's name to Hope Presbyterian church. The service will be livestreamed at www.hope-pc.org
