Joan Peay, 79, of Hebe, died September 2, 2014, at her residence.

She was born in Harrisburg on August 24, 1935, a daughter of the late Blanch and Roscoe Troutman.

Joan was employed as a secretary for Northumberland County Prothonotary Office.

She was a member of David's U.C.C., Hebe.

Joan is survived by her spouse Donald Peay, two sons, Donald Peay, Jr. of Clearwater, FL, Ronald Peay of Sunbury; two sisters, Betty Bohner of Hebe, Gayle Lau of Halifax; and four grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by brother, Roy Troutman, sister, Eleanor Schauffner, sister, Grace Shaffer.

Private services will be held at a later time.
