Joan Pratt Obituary
Joan's life was marked by her sweet nature and love for her family. She found joy in simple pleasures, like her weekly Dunkin' drinks and donuts, and was an avid fan of puzzle games and cooking shows. In her younger years, Joan was an enthusiastic bowler, participating in many leagues.
Joan was a proud graduate of Chatham High School. She built a career as a dedicated receptionist, where her warm presence was felt by all who crossed her path.
Joan is survived by her sons, Paul Pratt (Kathy) and Darin Pratt; daughter, Heather Grantham (Don); eight grandchildren, Josh, Darik, Chris, Connor, Leah, Hailey, Ryan, and Austin; and three great-grandchildren, Sage, Isabelle, and Silas. She is also joyfully anticipating the birth of another great-grandchild. Joan was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Fred Pratt, and son, Lorin Pratt.
A memorial service to honor Joan's life will be held on November 29, 2024, at the Chatham Fire Department in Chatham, NY, from 12 pm to 5 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Joan's name to the American Diabetes Association, a cause close to her heart.
Joan's legacy of kindness and warmth will be remembered by all who knew her. Her life was a testament to the love and joy she brought into the world, and she will be deeply missed.

My mom always had a way of makin me laugh.. she was a very loving and nurturing mother. I´m goin to miss our check up on each other phone calls .
It´s going to be hard and missed noticeably on my birthday and on holidays not hearing from her.
I know that she´s healed now and with my dad and brother... but I still am missing her as I do with the rest of my family.
