JOAN E. ROSE Joan E. Rose, 51 of Manchester, NH, died Saturday, December 5, 2009, at Brigham & Women's Hospital, in Boston, MA. Born on September 14, 1958, in Fitchburg, MA, she was the daughter of Leslie and Doris (Leblanc) Rose. Mrs. Rose was employed as the former director of the Hooksett Food Pantry. Her interests include; attending church, traveling to the beach and mountains, and watching movies, especially classic television shows. Mrs. Rose did volunteering work with many organizations. Members of her family include; her son, Jesse Rose, of Manchester; 1 brother, Peter Rose, of Laconia, NH; 4 sisters, Janice Laughy, of San Antonio, TX; Gail Hall, of Boston, MA; Carol Bresse, of Belmont, NH; Sheila Rose, of Campton, NH; nieces and nephews. A memorial gathering will be Saturday, December 19, from 10:00 – 11:00 AM, at the Phaneuf Funeral Home, 243 Hanover Street, corner of Union Street, in Manchester. A Memorial Service will follow in the funeral home chapel at 11:00 AM. Burial will take place at a later date, at Sacred Heart Cemetery, in Laconia. Donations may be made to NH Food Bank, 62 West Brook Street, Manchester, NH 03101, in memory of Mrs. Rose.

Im so sorry you had to go so young.It really upsets me, I wont have my mother there to watch her only son get married or see her grandchild (or grandchildren) grow up. I wish we would of had more time to spend together although i cherish every moment weve had together. You were a great Mother and a friend to me.I am truly going to miss you. Even though I told you all the time, I still couldnt tell you enough how much I LOVE YOU!!!
