Joan Marie Sanderson

Joan Marie Sanderson, 57, of Coleman Road, Meadville, a loving mother, sister, wife and grandmother, died Thursday, May 1, 2008.Born in Erie May 3, 1950, she was a daughter of Joseph H. and Mary C. Stegher Wolfe.Her favorite hobby was playing bingo. She enjoyed snacking on potato chips and Hershey Kisses. She loved watching soaps and the show “Law and Order.”She has 10 children of her own, three stepchildren and seven in-laws, James Cozzens, Chad Cozzens and his girlfriend, Sarah McConnell, Aric Cozzens and his wife, Meghan, Heidi Rash and her husband, Mike, Hans and his wife, Kristen, Fred and his wife, Kristen, Nick Cozzens and his wife, Katherine, Adam Cozzens, Kris Cozzens, Chelsey Waldrige and her husband, William, Robert Sanderson, Lisa Sanderson and Jason Sanderson, who all loved her.Joan had four siblings, Mary (Cookie) Stadler, Mike Wolfe, Becky Drury and Molly Connelly.Joan was married to Preston Sanderson July 1, 1998, who cared about her more than the world. She has 21 grandchildren, Emilie Cozzens, Brooke Cozzens, Kara Rash, A.J. Cozzens, Bryce Cozzens, Brandon Rash, Oliver Cozzens, Zion Dean, Remington Cozzens, Elijah Cozzens, Aiden Cozzens, Chase Cozzens, Alexandra Cozzens, Josephine Cozzens, Maddox Cozzens, Marino Cozzens, Veronica Cozzens, Autumn Cozzens, Rhett Sanderson, Reid Sanderson and Hayden Sanderson.The family will miss her and want her to know that we love her so very much, and may she rest in peace.Calling hours will be Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Roofner-Collins Funeral Home Inc., 544 Chestnut St., Meadville.The funeral and committal service will be Monday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home, with Father Steve Anderson, pastor of Our Lady Queen of the Americas Church, officiating.Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Preston Sanderson, 13476 Coleman Road, Meadville, Pa. 16335.
