Joan Stuen Obituary
Joan is preceded in death by husband, Glenn; daughter, Leisa Joan Magnuson-Slama; son, Christopher Stuen; son-in-law, Leo Slama; parents, William W. & Johanna B. Merrigan Jr.; siblings, Richard Merrigan, Hyacinth "Connie" Freeman. Joan will be deeply missed by daughter, Cynthia Stuen; sons, Emanuel EC (Shelley) Stuen, and Thomas (Mary) Stuen; daughter-in-law, Carrie Ennenga; eleven grandchildren, Katie Stuen, Benjamin Magnuson, William Magnuson, Matt Slama, Tommy Lee Stuen, Taylor Stuen, Kallie Miska, Alexandra Stuen, Cassandra Stuen, Zachary Stuen and Jonathan Vinge; great grandchildren, Carl Magnuson and JaShaun Miska; many nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.
Joan was an artist and loved to paint. She worked as a hair stylist and operated an in-home beauty shop in Forest Lake.
A private family graveside service will be held to honor Joan.
