Joan V. Zaar Obituary
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Gerry; her daughter, Leann R. Zaar, RN; and her sons, Gregory T. Zaar, M.D., MPA, and John Zaar.
Survivors include her daughter, Susan M. Zaar of Loudon, TN, along with many cousins, nieces, and nephews, and of course, her two granddogs, Tennessee Bourbon of Loudon County (Tucker) and Brandy Alexander (Brandy).
A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, Lenoir City, TN on Friday, January 30, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. The family will receive friends before the service from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 1580 St. Thomas Way, Lenoir City, TN 37771, or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Memphis, TN.
