Dear Family,
JoAnn was my classmate. Was hoping that she would come to our reunion that we had in August, but she wasn't there. Would like to have had a chance to visit with her. We had several classes together at Central, and I always enjoyed her company.
My deepest sympathy to all of you.
Sincerely, Ruth F. McGinnis

To JoAnn's family-
I will never forget your wife, mother, sister and friend. She was a very special person to me as well. I jazzercized with her for many, many years. She stood right next to me in the front row. What great memories I have of our times laughing and teasing together. One memory I will never forget is when another jazz friend brought a fake snake to class in a brown paper bag (JoAnn was scared to death of snakes). Anyway, the words snake were part of a song we danced to, so this person thought it would be funny to scare JoAnn with the bag........I'm not sure how funny JoAnn thought it was, but it was purely in fun! No one will ever forget her smile, humor and wit.....she will truly be missed.
Until we meet again my friend, rest in peace.
Sincerely,
