I saw you Mom be the best woman, person and mother you could be
while fighting past scars and present illnesses...
I saw you Mom send hundreds, no thousands of heart emojis every time you reached out to
anyone...
I saw you Mom shut people out instantly when you were challenged , not out of spite but out of
a highly cultivated self-surviving defense mechanism...
I saw you Mom look to be in the most extreme pain when you would rest, and wondering just how this incredible woman endures so much each day and can still function and love deeply....
I saw you Mom push me away so hard .. what I didn't see until it was too late as to why...

I wish I could send and receive just one more text of you filling the phone with 50-100 emojis per line, I wish I could tell you I loved you and appreciated you one more time and I wish I could hug you one more time to let you know you were and are never alone...
