JoAnn Sharp (nee Harbour) beloved wife for 52 years of the late Homer Sharp. Loving mom of David(Chris) and Terry(Jean) Sharp. Loving grandma of Tara(Philip) Gustavson, Ryan Sharp, Erica(Klye) Ehlert. Cherished great grandma of Hunter Ehlert. Dear sister of Jacqueline Ballard and the late Shelly Harbour. Dear aunt of many nieces and nephews. JoAnn was a volunteer for Christ Hospital Auxiliary. She was an active member of the United Methodist Church for over 60 years, including many of the Faith United Methodist Groups including the Women-Mary Circle Group, Home Communion Committee and the Upper Room Group. She was also active in the Palos Newcomers Club, Oak Hills Newcomers Club and PEO Sisterhood, Oak Hills Golf League, Canasta Group, Needle Work Group, Palos Heights Senior Citizen Club and the Oak Hills Women's Club. She had the ability to make friends with everyone she ever met, had an open heart to support and help all those in need, loved her family, friends and had a strong faith in God. JoAnn had a generous heart, was engaged in all organizations she belonged to and was genuine, authentic and gracious. She was always dressed impeccably, loved to play all kinds of card and domino games- And Win!! She loved golf, telling stories, travel and entertain. She loved her husband and was very proud of him, her son's and their wives, grandkids, great grandson and her grand dogs. Visitation Tuesday from 3-9 p.m. at the Zimmerman Sandeman Funeral Home 9900 w.143rd St. Orland Park, IL Lying in state Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. at the Faith United Methodist Church 15101 S. 80th Avenue Orland Park, IL 60462.
