To Ralph, Dennise, and Jennifer.

I am deeply sorry to hear this terrible news. I grew up on the other side of the same street as Joanna, and with her passing it feels as though a part of my home has passed with her. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. You all have my love and support.

Dear Family of Joanna,

It was a pleasure knowing your daugther and sister Joanna. She renewed my faith in believing in kind souls and a happy spirit. I work at Hennessey Salon in southgate. It was such a natural addition to have Joanna on our team. We all felt the instant connection and bonded with her like someone we have known for years. It is you the family I feel must be thanked for bringing such a young woman among us. She exemplifies good nature and had a zest for life that I myself realised that I had lost for a while there. Having lost my younger brother only 8 months ago. To realize now it is faith and memories that bind me together, now I seek company that add to my life and bring sunshine in, Joanna was such a person...reminding me of Life and Living! Loving and Smiling!

In the little time she spent with us, she impacted on us the importance of enjoying the day, and realising the people around us. For me, it was a very difficult time, reflecting back on my own loss but recognising also how previledged I am to have known her, you should be so proud that God blessed you with such a wonderful daughter.

Dear Mr and Mrs Cock and Jennifer,

In a very short time Joanna made a very significant mark. Joanna came to our salon on work experience from Marvel school. Instantly she impressed ALL our staff, a couple of us already knew her, the rest of us quickly wanted to know her, she was one of a kind. We knew we wanted her on our team. Joanna was exceptional. Her work ethic, her beautiful contagious smile, her optimistic and positive attitude, her charisma. She was special in every way. It was unanimous, she was hired. Joanna paid attention to everyone, her connection was sincere and genuine.

Her passing has made us realize how a beautiful spirit can impact our lives. We all feel she was a friend who will be greatly missed. We were all touched by her in some way, and are privileged to have known her even for a short time. We are sad for you her family, her boyfriend and friends who must have loved her very much. She made no secret of how she loved her life and those around her. Joanna's legacy is that she made a huge impression on thirty colleagues who will be better for having known her. May we all aspire to be so exceptional in thoughts and deeds. You, knowing how Joanna was, must be extremely proud. She must surely be in a glorious place, Heaven could not wait. Our hope is that memories will remain to comfort you. Yours Sincerely,

Andy & Cathy Dansereau

Dear Uncle Ralph, Auntie Denise and cousin Jen. Words cannot express how much I empathize with you guys at this moment. Jo was a great girl and I am gald that I had a chance to know her as a cousin, a friend, a confidant, and a truly kind and caring person. I truly cherish the memories that we had shared when we were younger. Those were some of the funnest times that I have ever had. The whole elvis impressions, putting on plays for you guys, and just acting plain silly. Even though this is a tough time Jo will be remembered by everyone's lives that she touched. Her smile and courageous heart will be remember always and forever. She is forever in our hearts and she can now be the angel that she is. Love you always and forever. xoxox

Denise, Ralph & Jennifer,

I am so sorry for your loss and the pain you are all going through. I will have to admit though, I have never in my life seen three stronger people then you three. I have known Joanna for a long time. Jennifer and Joanna have been there for me more times then I can count. I will truly never forget Joanna, and I feel so blessed to say that I knew her. She was always so much fun to work with at Burger Barn (started many water fights:P), or to be in Foods Class. She was always smiling and laughing, and always knew when someone truly needed a friend or a hug. There are no words to describe what a wonderful daughter, friend and sister she has been. She will be forever remembered. I love you guys.

Jo, you were such a wonderful person, so outgoing, cheerful, funny and always had something to say to either make us laugh or to cheer us up. I am more than grateful to have had you in my life and you will always remain in my heart forever. Even though i only got to see you the few times you were home, it felt like you and jen were my sisters not my cousins. I love you and i will miss you greatly. Auntie Denise, Uncle Ralph and Jen, you have all been in my thoughts everyday, know that i'm here for you and i love you all very very much. Take Care

Joanna was a great girl and was always a person who we thought of as a kind, caring girl. To us even as casual friends in a small town, she was always the type of person who could make your day brighten up. She had so much to give and its hard for anyone to see how such a tradgic event can happen to such a great family and individual. Our thoughts and prayers are with the parents, friends, and relatives of Joanna.

We will always remember that bubbly personality and beautiful smile. I can look back and remember those little girls that we had that played on the Millet Ball Team... Joanna's funny little "routine" she had before going up to bat. It still gives me a chuckle. Please accept our sincere sympathy.

Ralph, Denise and Jenn:

I got to know Jo and Jenn through the couple years we worked together. They are both amazing, wonderful girls! Jo was always on fast forward, she never slowed down. Every day working with her was an hilarious adventure, she always had a story to tell and it was usually about some silly thing she did. She brought with her the ability to light up the room, and bring you up when you were feeling down. Words cannot describe how sorry I am for your loss, she will be deeply missed.

Sweet Joanna, you saw the doors of heaven open up

and God's arms extend to embrace your loving soul.

You felt the warmth of the Lords light cradle your heart

so you ventured to his land of peace and love.

Sweet Joanna, for that we understand,

but we will never forget the joys you have given us.

Your smile, Your eyes, the way you said good-bye.

Your love, Your touch, the way you cared so much.

Sweet Joanna, it is not enough just to say we love you and miss you

but there will be no other quite like you.

For you are and were unique...

A one-of-a-kind.

Always in our hearts, Always in our minds.

Sweet Joanna...

Jo Mamma, your good spirits and laughter always touched my heart. You were always there to listen, like the great friend you were. Things at Marvel would not have been the same without out you and your contagious smile.

Love your friend Tiff

It's hard to tell you in words how deeply sorry we all are for your loss. Even though we had only seen Joanna and Jennifer a few times, it was not hard to see their close bond. It was evident in every way that Joanna was loved and loved those around her. She was vibrant and a barrel of laughs. You all deserve to be proud of her accomplishments and being part of the person she had become. She will be greatly missed. Please know that our prayers are with you all. God bless.
