Joanne always had such a positive outlook, experiencing and accepting life's struggles and supporting others through them, while always looking forward to the future - especially the end of mortgage payments and completion of house renovations! - that she often talked about. I am truly sorry and saddened that she had to endure such an illness and could not live for longer to enjoy her dream and see her lovely children into their adult lives. I know that the last few years were increasingly difficult for her (perhaps more than we knew), so too for Dave and the girls who cared for her; yet she was an inspiration, always hoping for the best, thankful and making the most of what she had. I shall forever remember the happy smile and the good times past - in particular learning to sail and windsurf on the Solent. Such precious memories of a lovely person and fun times can never fade or be taken away from us. May all her dreams be fulfilled, now on another shore. RIP. Stephen.

I am privileged to have known Joanne. A beautiful, thoughtful and selfless lady. I'll never forget her kindness. God picks his own flowers and only picks the best and brightest. Peace be with you Joanne.

Fond memories of such a lovely person taken too soon. The chats and laughs we had and your lovely smile will always be missed. Your terrible suffering is now over, may you rest in peace Jo. Good night - God bless
