I just recently learned of Ed's passing and although I never really got to spend much time getting to know him as much as I would have liked, I at least got to know him well enough to see that he truly was a good person and I know he'll be greatly missed by all of his friends and family. I think he would have been very happy to know how many people regarded him as a true and good friend.

I am so sorry for your loss. Ed was a remarkable person! He was always there to help when you needed no matter how busy he was. I will miss getting his email jokes. Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. He will be missed!

Ed was one of a kind and a kinder person you will not find. I met Ed in '88 when I transferred to State College with Murata. He was one of the first people I met and he was as helpful and friendly from the first day straight through to the day we closed. A fabulous guy. He will be missed.

Ed was a great guy and I will truly miss him. They don't make many like him, so I am proud to say that he was a friend.

I knew Ed from working at Murata. When I would pass him in the hallway or see him out in public he would always talk to me. I will miss him.
