Joanne Keenan (nee Kane), of Gladwyne, PA., passed away on March 2, 2018. She was 79.
Daughter of the late Joseph and Anna Marie Dougherty Kane, she was born in Philadelphia on June 4, 1938.
Joanne was the beloved wife of the late Martin C. Keenan. Devoted mother of Donna Kirby and Heather Buckley. Loving grandmother of Ashley, Adam, Alex and Joey and great-grandmother of Kylee. She is also survived by her brother Tom Kane and sister Janet Szlachta (nee Kane).
A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday March 8, 11 AM at St. John Vianney Church, 350 Conshohocken State Rd., Gladwyne, PA. Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing from 9 to 11 AM at the Church. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, West Conshohocken, PA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Alzheimer’s Association, P.O. Box 96011, Washington, D.C., 20090-6011.

and she always brings a smile to our faces. she always loved angels, and perhaps that is
because she was the closest thing to one on this earth.

Mrs. Keeenan was a great friend to our family she will be greatly missed by all. My mom who always enjoyed Mrs. Keenan is unable to attend the services today due to health sends her sympathies and is keeping your family in her prayers.
