Joanne Elizabeth Palko

I had the pleasure of working with Joanne in NYC for Pan Am and again our paths crossed in Atlanta while working for Delta Air Lines.

She was a kind, caring boss, and person. My heart goes out to her family. She will be missed!

Joanne was a great lady with a great smile, huge heart and great sense of humor. She will be missed by many. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this time of loss.

Joanne's dry wit always made me laugh and helped us get through some trying days. I'm glad to have known her and learned from her. God bless her family and those of us who miss her.

I was very sorry to hear of Joanne's passing. She was a great lady, I worked with her at Delta and always knew that she was there to help. A great person and she will be greatly missed.

I was heartsick to hear the news. Remebering Joanne brings a smile to my face though. Some of my best laughs at Delta were shared with her. She had style, grace and oh so many friends. She will truly be missed.

I worked with Joanne in the Marketing department at Delta. She was truly a special lady. My thoughts & prayers are with her family during this sad time. May you find comfort that only comes from God above.

Everyone that knew Joanne loved Joanne and that is a testament to how she lived her life. She was an extraordinary person who will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Rest in peace dear friend, you are home now.

Dear Steve:
I have a big smile on my face as I think of Joanne and of you and of the four of us together in New York! You two unfolded the mysteries of Manhattan to us. We had so many good times together. She was amazing, loads of fun, full of life, great and enjoyable sense of humour. You two were great together. Thank you both for sharing your lives with Rory and with me.

It is great to have the hope that God promises us that we will be together again in eternity. I know that heaven is a wonderful place and I am sure she is there with wonderment in her eyes as it is unfolded to her.

Hang on, Steve, to the God who loves you and who can be a strength in a time like this. This is a valley that is tough but one that He walks through with us.

Such delightful memories of NYC and Pan Am with Joanne. My grief is tinged with joy at knowing her and knowing her suffering is over. I pray that faith will allow us to see each other again one day.

I was so very sorry to hear of Joanne's passing. I remember her fondly from our days at Delta and always admired the way she weathered any crisis with calm, dignity and humor. My sympathies to Joanne's family and to her many friends.

I met Joanne on my first day ever at Delta - when interviewing with Joanne and Kevin. She was so witty and down to earth that day. And, she was that way every single day. It's not often in life that you get to work with someone like Joanne, that you respect and love. I'll miss her very much. Mary Welsh
