Joanne Rueger Steedle Obituary
Age 91, of Millvale, on Saturday, September 16, 2023, Mrs. Steedle was the beloved wife for 68 years of B. Leo Steedle; mother of Kathleen Voit (late Wayne), Kimberly Beran (David), Kevin Steedle (Patricia), Keith Steedle (Cynthia), Kurt Steedle, Kerry Steedle (Kathleen); sister of Carol Fabina, Fred “Brother” Rueger, and the late Henrietta “Tootie” Barricella; grandmother of 11 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Steedle proudly served St. John’s Lutheran Church of Millvale as a Sunday School Teacher and Superintendent for numerous years. She volunteered at the First Lutheran School of Sharpsburg in whatever capacity was needed. She spent many years volunteering at St. Francis Hospital.
Celebrate Mrs. Steedle’s life with her family on Monday from 2-7 PM at PERMAN FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, INC., Shaler Twp. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday at 10 AM at St. John’s Evangelical Church, Millvale. The family respectfully suggests donations be made to Concordia Lutheran Ministries, 134 Marwood Rd., Cabot PA 16023
