I just learned today of Joanne's passing. I am so sorry for the loss of such a wonderful lady. I had just spoken with her on the phone, a few weeks prior to her passing, it seems. Spoke for roughly 45 minutes...I'll miss you Joanne. Rest in Heaven.

Jake and family. I´m sorry to hear about JoAnne´s passing. JoAnne and Jake always welcomed me into their home for good conversation and I usually left with some banana bread! Rest In Peace, job well done.

Wow, I am so sorry to hear this news. What a woman JoAnne was! Side by side with Jake in the concrete business, for all those years. My grandma and dad would tell stories of JoAnne stopping by our shop for tools and equipment, with all the kids in tow! Chaos! Years after I would have many conversations with her about her now adult children, and her grandkids. Of course we always appreciated the hand delivered banana bread, and whatever that rich almond treat was! I always wondered how she found the time...
She brought us lilies to plant, that she had dug from her garden. She took our chrysalises and nurtured them to monarchs.
I´ve always considered her family and ours not just business associates, but friends as well. I am so sorry for your loss. JoAnne was special beyond words.

So very sorry to hear about JoAnne´s passing. Will always remember our mission trip to KICY in Nome, AK in 2007. JoAnne and others were in charge of the food for the crew and I was privileged to help Jake with a cement project for the new towers. Always a pleasant lady to be around. Save a place for me JoAnne!
