Jocelyne Grismer (Jullion) April 28, 1949 May 8, 2009 After a courageous and strong battle with cancer, Jocelyne Grismer passed away peacefully and with dignity on Friday, May 8, 2009, with her family by her side. Jocelyne was born in Vawn, SK and just recently celebrated her 60th birthday! Jocelyne is survived by her husband, Gary; daughter, Jennifer (Brian) Ritchie; her much beloved and cherished grandchildren, Maxwell and Ella and was looking forward to the birth of the third grandchild in August. She also leaves her mother, Agnes Wilkinson; her brothers, Guy (Emily) Jullion, Denis (Cami) Jullion, Marc (Carlys) Jullion and Mike (Shelley) Jullion; her sisters, Paulette (Lenny) Blais and Nicole (Al) Babiuk; brotherand sisters-in-law, Glen (Sandra) Grismer, Gail (Bruce) Thiessen, Gina (Brian) Digness; as well as their extended families. Jocelyne was a strong, positive and loving woman whose laugh was infectious and loved by all that knew her. She enjoyed a more than 30 year career with Shoppers Drug Mart at locations both in North Battleford and Saskatoon, during which time she cultivated many strong and lasting friendships! Special thanks from the family to the Saskatoon Cancer Clinic; Addie and the Saskatoon Home Care staff for their dedicated support and assistance during Jocelyne's illness; the staff at St. Paul's Hospital, including the Palliative Care Unit, for their amazing care and attention in Jocelyne's final days. As well as to Rod Amaya and his staff at SDM 413 at Broadway and Taylor and to her two best friends, Julie Raven and Donna Young for all the love and support given to mom, she cared for and loved you all. A Memorial Service for Jocelyne will be held at Park Funeral Chapel, 311 Third Avenue North, Saskatoon, on Wednesday, May 13, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. with a reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Palliative Care Unit, St. Paul's Hospital. To sign the on-line book of condolences visit www.parkfuneral.ca . To Gary and all the Grismer Family: I was very saddened to see Jocelyne's picture in the paper the other day but it was a lovely picture that showed her lovely smile and perky personality. I used to run into her at SDM and she would always keep me up to date on what you were doing Gary and how your parents and Gail were getting on. So much has changed since the years when I worked for your Dad (with both he and your Mom gone) but he always had a soft spot for Jocelyne and Jennifer and it was through his conversations that made me feel so comfortable talking to Jocelyne. May your cherished memories carry you through this difficult time and may you take comfort knowing Jocelyne is now at peace. Take care.

When I first started working as a pharmacist in 1988 I had the pleasure of working at the SDM that Jocelyne was employed at. I was only there for a year or so but when I opened the paper this morning and saw her picture, specifically her bright smile, I remembered how friendly and vivacious she had been. She was a real treasure to work with. I am sure you will all miss her very much.
