Jody Lynn Johnson of Calgary passed away on November 21, 2014 at the age of 39 years. She will be lovingly remembered by her family and many friends. A Celebration of Jody's Life will be held at First Alliance Church (12345-40 Street SE) on Friday, November 28, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. Photos, memories and condolences may be shared through www.evanjstrong.com. Dear Pastor Johnson and Family:
Over the past seven months ,since I visited Calgary and learned about Jody and your family; you have been in my prayers and I have read and wept over every e-mail you sent to Brenda Frezell, my daughter-in-law and she pasted them on to me. Sometimes rejoicing, sometimes grieving with you but seeking God's will for Jody and your family. I watches every minute of her service by the internet. What a testimony of God's care of each of you.
You will continue in my prayers as we grieve and rejoice together for her promotion to glory. Psalm 56:8 assures us that God collects our tears and records them in His book.

I just heard about yours and Jodi's long battle and of her passing. My heart grieves for you and the kids as I try to contemplate your loss. I will continue to pray for you over the next while as you continue to grieve. May our Lord hold you close to Him.

We are old next door neighbours from Brooks when Jody was a young girl. We have many fond memories of those years and really do remember Jody as a young little girl.
