Jody Murphy

Woolwich Jody Anne Murphy passed away at her home surrounded by loved ones on January 15. By her side was her caregiver and loving husband of 40 years Keith Murphy.

She was born on April 3, 1963, at the Parkview Memorial Hospital in Brunswick Maine. She attended Morse Highschool in Bath Maine where she graduated with her class in 1981. Jody managed the party division at Taylor Rental in Brunswick for 26 yrs and many catering events. After that she worked at The Sandwich Shop in Bath, Maine and then took her talents with cooking and caregiving to the Plant Home. Throughout her career she touched many lives and made many friends with her warm and loving smile.

Jody loved the outdoors and the water. Together, Jody and Keith enjoyed riding motorcycles, ATV's, boating, fishing and outdoors. They spent many weekends at their camp in Great Pond making memories with their friends and family.

She leaves behind a sister Judi and husband Peter of Scarborough and a brother Jeff and partner Pam of Holden. She also had a brother Butch and wife Nancy and children of Boothbay and brother Vincent Burnham of New Hampshire. Jody had many special Aunts and Uncles. And, Jody loved all her nieces and nephews. She was a special aunt to Anthony Zwaan and his partner Jamie, and Ethan Zwaan and his partner Courtney and their children. Jody shared her passion for the outdoors with them.

Jody was predeceased by her fun-loving memorable mother Beverly Ann Moore. And her special Grandparents Clarence and Ethel Moore of North Bath and Great Pond. Also, her beloved brother Jimmy Cressey.

She loved her friends Kelli and Freddie and brother-in-law Randy and wife Lisa. And her BFF Tedi Ahern and her daughter Kelly.

There will be a Celebration of Life at Fred and Kelli's house on Saturday April 5th at 2:00 pm at 270 Chopps Cross Rd Woolwich Maine. All are welcome. If you have any questions, you can text Kelli Small at 207-522-6108
