Joe served and fellow-shipped with many churches, sharing his gift. He was a beacon of light in the community and to all whom he came in contact with. He fed the homeless, visited the sick, helped many find employment and just loved on people.

Notable Accomplishments: Visionary,Manager & Drummer of Rey Reyna & Aftershock Band (Tejano). They recorded & released their singles in 1992: “Voy a Cambiar”/ “Dime La Verdad”. They also released their 1st full CD, “Piensalo Bien” in 1995.

He also performed as drummer in many show bands ~ Jazzreal (Tejano & Jazz); JusUs (Jazz & Funk); All Stars Tejano Band; Café Band (Tejano); Union Band (Tejano); Valencia (Tejano); Warm Excursion (Rhythm & Funk Band); T-Bird Gordon (Rhythm & Funk,Rock n Roll ); Centennials (Tejano); Los Hi Lites (Tejano); Little Joe y La Familia; plus many others.

Joe is celebrated today for his accomplishments and hard work. His life was well spent and he has received the ultimate crown, to lay at the feet of Jesus.
