I lived with him during Covid lock down, we played a lot of rummy and 21. He had good days and bad days. I called him my genie. Sorry to hear he´s gone.

We met at Bellview Jr.High School. Smart and soft spoken. A school friend in his advanced classes. My deepest condolences to family and friends.

Joe was the first vegan I ever met! He was also the first person I met that meditated. He had a warmth and a wisdom that was very attractive. He had qualities that confused me when I met him- but decades later, I have started to understand. He had a seat for others at his table. Be at peace, Joe B. And thank you.

Joe taught me a lot about loving people you serve and serving the people you love.

My earliest memories of Joe began at Bellview Junior High. Joe only 5 months older was in a grade ahead of me...no spoilers, a long time ago. We spent a lot of time growing up around each other, schools and work, from Pensacola to Cherry Point, NC as Electroplaters. And along the way we sang, danced, partied together, shot pool and darts in bar leagues. Joe was always the life of the party! Sooo many memories, good, bad, or ugly we remained close friends. Rest in Peace Joe, until we meet again in a new adventure. You are loved and missed? Dan Law

Rest in Peace Joe. Always enjoyed our phone calls and visits. I always thought you were Tom Petty at first when you called and now I can see you two jamming together. We'll all miss you and love you very much.

Dear Sarah and brothers, Walt and I are so sorry to hear about the loss of your father. He was taken much too soon, but it is a relief that he is no longer suffering. Walt really enjoyed talking to him about Albuquerque and found Joe to be very interesting. You are all in our thoughts band prayers.

Only knew Joe a short time. But Joe and I would sit on my front porch, have great conversations and enjoy Lynyrd Skynyrd. Our lives had many similarities that made interesting. He will be greatly missed!
