Joe was my close friend, and I talked to him every day. He helped me through a lot in life and was always there when I needed him, no matter the hour. He would tell me he believed in me and that I would change the world someday. Since he passed, those words have been on my mind every second of the day.

I was 14 years old back in 1986 my family loved country music and we heard The Oak Ridge boys music a lot and we went to many of their concerts as a matter of fact
The Oak Ridge boys were my very first concert and Joe was my favorite I finally got to meet him in 2002 at their yearly open house party they have for the fans during CMA fest.
I'm sorry for your loss and thank you for sharing him with the world you are in my thoughts and prayers during this very difficult time thank you again and God bless your family.

Joe was a member of the Keystone Quartet. He and Richard Sterban were both in the group. They played 2 concerts at my high school in Buffalo before they went to join the Oak Ridge Boys. They were dynamic in the Keystone´s and I always loved their music. I still have my LP´s from back then. I am very sad to hear of his passing.

My Deepest Sympathiy Condolences of the Joe Bonsal Family, Friends, Music Industry, Fans
It´s a very great loss for the Music Industry, he is talented singer. I truly love the song they sing Elvira.
In verdant pastures he gives me repose; beside restful waters he leads me; he refreshes my soul.
He guides me in right paths
for his name´s sake.
You anoint my head with oil;
my cup overflows.
Only goodness and kindness follow me all the days of my life; and I shall dwell in the house of the LORD for years to come.
ETERNAL REST
GRANT UNTO THEM, O LORD.
AND LET PERPETUAL LIGHT
SHINE UPON THEN.
MAY THEIR SOULS
AND THE SOULS OF ALL THE
FAITHFUL DEPARTED
THROUGH THE MERCY OF GOD
REST IN PEACE.
AMEN.
He will be missed, never be forgotten. His soul still live on, as his body Departs back in Heaven.

My name is Anita, my Husband, Mother and I first met Joe, Duane, Bill and Richard at the Nugget in Sparks NV. On my Mother's Birthday. Long ago I was listening to Gospel music it was the Boys so when the opportunity came to see them we went. Joe wished my Mom a Happy birthday and gave her a hug, until her passing, she said that was her favorite day.I thank you for sharing such a wonderful person with the rest of us. May you rejoice in the knowledge that the next time you see each other it will be for eternity. Until then may your heart be filled with love and memories of Joes joy of life. A great loss for music and a great talent he was
I believe he knew the lord and my heart goes out to his family
May Jesus give them comfort and strength
He will be remembered and honored for his music and
His energy on stage
Joe the lord took away the sting of death and to be absent from the body
Is to be present with Christ
I have enjoyed many gospel songs Joe and the boys did and many country
Songs also
Rest in peace until the trumpet sounds
Yours in Christ

Our condolences to the family of Joe Bonsall. The world will miss that big hair, big mustache, big grin, big voice, and big heart. He was a character and a wonderful singer. I named one of my cars "Elvira" because I loved the song so much. Thank you all for sharing Joe with the world. We pray that God will comfort and strengthen you until we all get to see him again. (I have a feeling we'll be able to hear him before we ever get up to the Pearly Gates!)

The Oak Ridge Boys were the second group behind the Statlers that i heard after i was adopted back in 1974. I was 5 years old then when i first started listening to country music. I saw them a lot on tv, and Mr. Bonsall was so "hyper", and all over the stage. Never lost a step, always a "cool cat". We will not say goodbye today, just "see you later", because we will see him again someday. Rest easy your work here is completed.

I grew up out in the country. We didn't have TV even though it was the 70's. Radio was king in our house. My parents were die hard country music fans, so my brother and I listened to country music from the 40's onward. I loved the harmonies of the Oak Ridge Boys. Wish there was country music now like there was when I was growing up. RIP Joe Bonsall. You and the Boys were a class act.
