I grew up in Floral Park NY and new this lovely gentleman and his wife Rosemary. They were very kind to me and helped my parents find great teachers for my training in vocal music. I have been in music the rest of my life and teach today including a few semesters at UCLA in the theater dept and 14 years at AMDA. The spirit of generosity Mr. Cook and Mrs.Cook demonstrated inspires me today. Thank You and God Bless You. Mary Stahl Amorosia

During this time of grief and sorrow, it's comforting to know that Joe's life was filled with great accomplishments. He loved life which is revealed in his ability to seek opportunities and turn them into successes. Just knowing that Joe captured a large measure of joy in his life, gives the ones he left behind fond memories that help to cope with this great loss.
I'm sure Joe will be missed but his legacy lives on.

Joe Cook was a wonderful writer...perhaps the best I ever worked with during my years in television. He was also a decent guy with a generous sense of humor and a lovely sense of self. My wife, Elizabeth, and I offer our sincere condolences to his family.
