Joe Drew Obituary
He was born March 22, 1927, in Livingston, Texas, to Willie and Ellen Drew. Joe honorably served our country in the U.S. Army during post World War II. In 1956, he moved here to the local area, where he made his home. Joe worked for and retired from Longview Glass after 22 years. He enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman.
Joe leaves behind to cherish his memories three children, Gary Drew and his wife, Beverly, Gale Dodson and her husband, David and Dewayne Drew; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one sister, Nell Parker and her husband, William; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Graveside services for Joe will be 2 p.m. today, March 23, 2013, at the Mausoleum at Rosewood Park Cemetery in Longview. Visitation will be during the service. Arrangements are under the care of Rader Funeral Home in Longview.
