JOE C. "J.C." GONZALES
J.C. served with the U.S. Marines for four years, he was past member of the American Legion and Caballeros Club, he owned and operated J.C.'s Sport Lounge, and he was a crew manager for Global Geophysical.
He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Mrs. Jean A. Gonzales; one daughter, Tonya J. Gonzales; one son and daughter-in-law, Joe C. Gonzales and Lauri A. Gonzales, all of Beeville; his mother, Maria Louisa C. Gonzales of Goliad; five brothers, Francisco (Diane) Gonzales of Beeville, Daniel and John Gonzales, both of Ocala, Fla., Bobby Gonzales of Goliad, and Rene (Cindy) Gonzales of Grandbury; two sisters, Yolanda (Sid) Underwood and Jo Ann Gonzales, both of Grandbury; and five grandchildren, Landon Lukezic, Dustin Pinney, Dalton Pinney, and Derrik Pinney, all of Beeville, and Jacob Fortes of Cibolo.
Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. Thursday at the Trevino Funeral Home in Beeville.

I worked with J.C. in Texas City on crew 888. He was a nice man and respected by all the members of Crew 888 with Global Geophysical. He will be missed by many people in that area.
