Joe meant a lot to me and my family. He was always so kind and I knew he was amazing from the moment I met him. He always treated me with respect and kindness. He took care of my dear Eva Beth for a while and I am forever thankful. Sending prayers and love to your family. xoxo

Our Uncle Joe was the best! He kept family and friends entertained for many years with his newsletters and wicked sense of humor. We were fortunate enough to accompany him and and Theresa to the Petroleum Club with their lovely friends. We'll all miss you.

Our deepest sympathy to Joe's family and many friends. We met Joe through his brother Charles L. (Lindy) Hammond and enjoyed his company at many fun events over a 25 year span. Rest in peace, Joe.
You were much loved and will be greatly missed.

I am so sad to know we have lost a wonderful man me & my family had the privilege of knowing. He had a full & interesting life we loved to hear about. And oh how he loved to brag about Emma. Joe was a blessing to my grandmother, Eva Beth, as well. Our thoughts & prayers are with you all. May the good Lord lay His healing hands on your aching hearts. We loved him so.
