Joe Bill and I were friends since elementary school, junior high and high school. during those years I was accepted into his home as well as he into mine and we were something else riding down Main Street in Joe's Model T Ford. These are memories that I will never forget. Joe and I parted company after GHS as he entered Clemson and I The Citadel. After college Joe enlisted into the Air Force and I in the Marines. We have not seen a lot of each other over the past sixty years having gone separate ways in our careers, but never lost the friendship that we had through out our younger years.

Joe was a 30+ year friend of my father, Ronald Connelly, who taught Joe how to sculpt. Joe was one of Greenville's greatest architects and any unique home you see on Paris Mtn is probably one of his. I spent all last fall and winter watching football games with Him. Joe gave me great advice on positive living and business.
I will forever remember his wit, charm,
and laughter. This man was a true legend and will be sorely missed. My
condolences to His large and wonderful family.

I remember fondly Joe as a friend and archiect associate. My sympathies are with the family, Joe Jr. especially, who has continued for many years like his father, as my friend and architect associate.
