Joe Piro

Some people might not read this because well it's been quite a while, but I recently found this and thought I should let you know that I really appreciated all the wonderful things you said about my dad. Seeing at which I didn't really get the time to know him all that well these messages help a lot. Thank you again and have a nice day.

My deepest sympathy to all the children and especially you Nancy...There are no words i can think of...all i know is that your all in my thoughts and prayers.

Wow - one of our fellow LBP'93 has past away. My sympathies to Joe's family. No one deserves this. Not a young man who with 3 daughters. Nancy I know we don't know each-other, but sweetie try to be strong for the girls - they need you at this time the most!

I want to offer my sincerest condolences to Joe Piro's family and friends. I went to highschool with Joe, and i remember him fondly as being a nice guy and a funny guy, made us laugh in class. I am really sadened to hear of his passing. My thoughts and prayers go out to his loved ones.

It is with the greatest saddness that I learned that one of my best friends in High school and someone I knew I could always count on has gone, without me be able to have one more drink and laugh at each others stories. Joe I am so so sorry that I did not reach out to you sooner, You know you are my brother even if its been almost 10 years since we last spoke but life has a way of getting in the middle of friends. You will be missed.

IT'S been an honor knowing you Joe Piro. You were the only one who could understand and reply to my humour.

We'll always think of Joe at the park with the kids. The biggest kid of all!! The kids loved him and you can't fool kids, they see the truth in people.

It's really difficult for me to do this. I hardly knew Joe but all I remember from him was his great sense of humour, that he loved his kids a lot and his happiness. God bless his kids and widow.

Your family will read this I say about you Joe: Your explosive and contagious sense of humour joined with your caracteristic sense of others will be immensely missed. You had this unique talent to brighten everyone's day. You were a force we welcomed in our lives and you did manage to show us how to laugh at life's hardships. Will miss you brother. Nancy, my deepest sympathies to you and your three beautiful daughters. Joe was a model father and a friend. I learnt so much when I started working with him. Endless conversations about sports and his daughters became a routine between me and him. I have so much to thank him for. We are all mourning him and one thing is for sure is that his memory, unselfishness, and great humour will never be forgotten. Stay Strong for the little ones Nancy. Joe would only want for all of you to keep smiles on your faces.

All that has a beginning has an end.

In Joe we lost a great Father/Son/Friend but most of all a truly stand up Man.

In the physical form you might not be but we will always and forever carry your spirit within us.

Nancy, I am deeply sorry for your lost but keep in mind that Joe would want nothing less than for you to stay strong for your 3 princesses.

It's with sadness that I post this entry. I had the chance to know Joe and work along him: big guy, great spirit, enourmous heart and an unforgettable eternal smile. He will be missed. My sicere condolences to his beloved family.

Please accept my deepest sympathies. I've known Joe for 3 years as a neighbour and a friend. He was a second uncle to my kids and I don’t remember every seeing him without a smile or at least a grin on his face. He was a gentle giant and a kid at heart. He could talk sports 24/7 with anyone. He was a kindred spirirt that I wish I had taken the time to know him better. I will miss him.

To Nancy, Megan, Olivia, & Emma please accept my deepest sympathy for your loss. Joe was a good person & his good humor will be greatly missed in our department.

I have had the pleasure of working with you Joe, throughout these years.I will remember you for your exceptionnal sense of humor and the sparkle of love and pride in your eyes when looking at your daughters.From wherever you are, I am sure you will protect and help them and their mother along the road they will now have to walk without you.

Why? Why are the innocent punished? Why the sacrifice? Why the pain? There aren't any promises. Nothing certain. Only that some get called, some get saved. He won't ever know the hardship and grief for those of us left behind. We commit his body to the void with a glad heart. For within each seed, there is a promise of a flower, and within each death, no matter how small, there is always a new life. A new beginning. Amen.

It is with great sadness that I heard about Joe's passing. I use to work with Joe at Bell, and every morning he would come to the Analysts corner just to say goodmorning with one of those smile and tell us a couple of jokes. Knowing him was nice, being his friend was even better. I wish to offer my condoleances to his family and children. may you Rest In Peace Joe and you will never be forgotten.
