Truly a "Door Keeper" in the House Of The Lord. My prayers for his family. Take comfort in knowing the legacy that he left that will long be remembered by his fellow "Shipites" at Fellowship MB Church,

I'm so sorry to hear about the passing of your father. I never met your father but I see that he was a native Georgian too, which makes us brothers by default. I will remember your family in my thoughts and prayers during this very difficult time.

I am so sorry that we cannot be there with you as we remember the wonderful life of Uncle Joe. I want you to know that I personally considered you two to be strong role models in my life. My sisters and I ALWAYS looked forward to your visits to Atlanta. You are a couple that I truly enjoyed being around, even if I didn't say much. It was a pleasure just to be in your presence.
