Cheryl,
I'm so sorry to hear about the passing of your father. I never met your father but I see that he was a native Georgian too, which makes us brothers by default. I will remember your family in my thoughts and prayers during this very difficult time.

Dear Auntie Ann,
I am so sorry that we cannot be there with you as we remember the wonderful life of Uncle Joe. I want you to know that I personally considered you two to be strong role models in my life. My sisters and I ALWAYS looked forward to your visits to Atlanta. You are a couple that I truly enjoyed being around, even if I didn't say much. It was a pleasure just to be in your presence. I pray that you, Joe, Cheryl and family are surrounded by God's peace and comfort now and in the future as you reflect on the love you shared with Uncle Joe. Love and prayers are coming from near and far.
Sincerely,
Tammy (Smith) Thompson, Darryl and family

To Ann, Joe, and Cheryl (our Extended Family). Words cannot express how My brother Duane and I yearn to be there with you during this time of bereavement. We loved your Dad as if he was our own father. Your Dad served as a father figure after the loss of our father. We will always remember the great times our families shared throughout the years. Our memories will live forever. We all know that Uncle Felix is now resting with the LORD. Duane and I are here to help, aid, and assist your family in whatever way that we can. It was not but 7 months ago, that you all were here for us. We are praying for your comfort and strength. Remember, that" Earth Has No Sorrow That Heaven Cannot Heal." KNOW THAT YOU ALL DID YOUR VERY BEST IN CARING FOR UNCLE FELIX. LOVE YOU ALL DUANE AND JACQUI ROGERS OF CHICAGO IL.

My Dear Cousins,
I regret that I can not be with you as planned due to weather. But please know that you are in my heart and I'm with you in spirit.
As always, I take great pride in saying that the "Roberts of Damascus" are my family. I thank God for the memories of the times I was able to share with your beloved husband, brother, father and grandfather. He was truly a man of God; a man of great character and good humor; and there was no doubting his love for family.
Joe, Felix, June.....You will be sorely missed by the many of us who love you. Take your rest! Debi

My dearest Covenant Family,
Thank you for sharing such an awesome Man of God with me! His wisdom, knowledge and understanding of God's Word and his ability to apply to everyday life situations is immeasurable.
In 2 Timothy 4:7 (KJV) the Apostle Paul stated: "I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith."
Mr. Roberts demonstrated Faith in God; Love for mankind; Perseverance in work and Integrity in life's affairs. Yes, he will be missed, but he will never be forgotten!
"We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord." 2 Corinthians 5:8 (KJV)
I love you all!

In remembrance of my Usher Chief at Fellowship MBC in Chicago, Il. Mr. Roberts was the best teacher of how an usher should conduct themselves and handle God's people. I will never forget his kindness and genuine and pleasant smile. God bless you Ms. Annie and I pray God's peace and strength for you and your family as you prepare to celebrate the life of Mr. Roberts. He is already dearly missed.
