Joe has a beautiful family that has Great Values, this is evidence of a well respected Godly man that loves his Heavenly Father & Loves his family. He set an Amazing Example not only for his family but for many others. You now have earned your Heavenly home with your Lord & Savior. Your loved ones will meet you there to spend eternity together.

We worked together at Bell. He was the fastest field engineer in the business. Once he convinced me to sit on the right front fender of the car with a measuring wheel so we could get the job done faster. I kept saying "Slow down Joe!" At about 15+ mph he looked up and saw a huge mud hole across the country road. Too late! Joe slammed on the brakes! I went flying through the air - into, and through, the mud hole - running to keep my balance with mud flying. The car was a mess. I was a mess. Joe hurried to check on me. We looked at each other and burst out laughing like little kids. Joe put his hand on his chin, as he did quite frequently, and said, "That may not have been the best idea I ever had." I said, "Oh really?" Joe softly directed, "Tomorrow, after you get cleaned up, wear some boots."
In the early years, we went by the farm one day during lunch. He was so excited about the land potential. Right before leaving and after looking around and discussing much needed work Joe said (with hand on his chin), "Do you have any plans this weekend?" Without another word, we both laughed and walked to the car.
He was devoted to his family. We spend many hours talking "family". My son Scott was the state decathlon champion in 1986. Joe enjoyed talking about Scott's and his girls athletic adventures.
I cannot imagine how much he will be missed by family and friends. Memories eventually replace grief. He will always be with us.
