Coach Woolley, was a great coach and great listener. He helped me play football at Ball High and was there when you wanted to talk . Everytime I think of football at Ball High School, I think of Joe Woolley. God Bless his family and God be with you all. John CHampion,Class 1974.

Martha and Scott:
We lived across the street from you on Pine Street when Joe was our coach at Ball High. Our deepest sympathies for you and your family. I can't believe it was "only yesterday" that Joe was our coach, Martha turned 40, and Scott was a kid.

I have enjoyed getting to know Mr. Wooley during his long stay at St. Lukes. Not long after meeting, we realized that we had worked together nearly 20 years ago. He was a coach and I was an assistant at ProSports,Inc. in New Orleans. Although we had not met face to face until a year ago, we still remembered our telephone converstations of long ago. He truly loved the game! His friendship and converstations will be dearly missed.
With sympathy to his loved ones...
Sincerely, Delores McNutt, RN,BSN

I express my sympathy to Joe Woolley's family. I knew Joe for many years and worked with him in Sacramento, San Antonio and Edmonton. Joe was an excellent football person but more importantly, he was a true friend. There are many who will miss Joe Woolley.
