Joel Kenneth Autry

Joel Kenneth Autry, age 64, entered into Eternal Life on Wednesday November 12, 2008 after a brief illness. Services will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church. The Reverend Don Caron and the Reverend Dr. Chuck Robertson will conduct the service. Interment will be private.Mr. Autry received his B.S. in pharmacy from the University of Georgia in 1968, and his Pharm. D. from Mercer in 1974. He was retired from Central State Hospital where he worked for over 30 years, and he currently worked as a pharmacist at CVS drugstore in Milledgeville. He was an active member of St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church in Milledgeville, where he was a choir member, lay reader and Lay Eucharistic Minister since 1970. He was preceded in death by his first son Patrick and his parents, Joel and Evelyn Autry. He leaves behind many, many dear friends and family, colleagues, and customers. Survivors include his wife Lisa and two children, Rebecca- Anne and Adam all of Milledgeville; his brother, Steve Autry (Barbara) of Blackshear, GA and many nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Chard Wray Food Pantry at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church P.O.
