The Clifton family, We all loved Joe, I can remember him from being 15 to driving around in his yellow chevy,To showing off Daniel,welcoming Jami,seeing him at the parade with the boys and Alicyn. How happy he was marrying Connie. He loved all his kids,and he had a huge heart and he really cared about people. He also loved his parents and grandparents and adored his sisters! No words are enough to describe what a giving man he was,he was just friendly with everyone. Say hi to your uncle for me,Joey. You will never be forgotten. I know you are shining bright in Heaven.

Joey- You gave me the best gift in the world, our son Daniel Joel. You will be forever missed but not forgotten, cuz your smile and humor live on forever through our son and thats such a blessing. Forever in my heart.

Dan & Richie, I am so saddened to hear about the loss of your Dad. He was such a funny, sweet and caring person. He always had a smile on his face. My love, thoughts and prayers go out to you & your family during this very difficult time.

It seems so untrue. My uncle Joey would do anything for you. All you had to do was ask. The last time I saw him he was trying to help me put my girls cars seats in the car. He tried and tried to get them right:) To see or hear him laugh was the best. What a kind heart he had. I hope he is having a blast with my dad. Xoxo

Allicyn, your dad was a great man and always wave to you at bus stop before we left to Fremont. He was a very nice man and I have seen him the last time at Deaf bowling with you bonding together! May God bless Joel and rest in peace! Alicyn, hang in there and your dad is looking up for you! If you need me, you can talk to me.

Joe Clifton was my friend since we were in the 8th grade.I have a lifetime of memories that I will enjoy telling for the rest of my life.You will be missed but not forgotten.My family sends out its love to all of you.

Joel was an amazingly funny and very cheerful person, always had a smile and something humorous to say. Your oldest son is your spitting image.. Never lose that Dan. Joel you were the love of my life, from the first time our eyes met. I'm so proud to have been your wife for so many years, and you are the best dad our kids could ever have. Our hearts are broke, we will always love and miss you forever.

Uncle I will miss watching the 49ers and Giant's games with you, along with Big Bang Theory and other shows. You will always be in my heart.

I am so very sorry to hear about Joel's, (Joey), passing. He alway's could come up with a funny comment just at the right time. It seems like yesterday when we were all in high school, just waiting for the weekend cruise. Joel didn't have a mean bone in his body, and alway's mellow. He will be greatly missed.

So sorry for your loss. Im sure he will be missed.
