So sorry to hear this news, Joyce. If you need a place to get away and heal, come out to my ranch in Montana. It´s wonderful therapy.

You were the first person to welcome Nancy and me to your home when we arrived in Savannah. We appreciated your southern hospitality.
Nancy remembers teaching Joel. One of her favorite stories was the one you told about going to the Citadel your freshman year and having to stand at football games until the Citadel scored. Then watching Furman fans, happily seated, the guys having their arms around girls and probably a flask in their pocket, you decided to change colleges. Did not blame you since I attended The Citadel.

Dearest Joyce, we are sad to hear of Joel's passing. We send our sincerest wishes for you, for Carol, for Joel's other family members -- that you will take some comfort in fond memories, even as you mourn Joel's loss. Much love comes your way, Joyce.
Your cousin, Sharon
