Joel's service was beautiful! It was heartfelt to hear all the stories about Joel and to see how many hearts he has touched and inspired. He was kind, loving, genuine, respectful, and always had a smile. I'm so happy that he met his true love Katie, and together, they created their family. I have no doubt Joel's spirit will live on and watch over his family.
RIP Joel ❤

Joel and me had the going joke of he was my brother from another mother due to the fact my maiden name was Moody and we were good friends in high school over the years we never really got to see each other other then getting older and sharing our lives on social media he will always be loved for the joy he bring into a room and the smile that melted hearts everywhere at this time we send prayers to the family

Katie, Nolan, Parker and Moody Family, My deepest sympathy to all of you.
Joel was a special guy. He ALWAYS had a smile on his face when I would see him at the office and was always a pleasure to talk with. He was just an all-around nice, kind, and humble guy and will be greatly missed by all of us at Belfor.
May God bless each one of you in the coming days ahead; and know that lots of prayers are being said for you.

Joel was my best friend and the best brother anyone could ask for, he could always make me laugh, Even when times were tough. Joel was always positive, he didn't let anything get him down.

I think the thing that always stuck with me about Joel was that he never seemed far from a laugh or a smile. He was someone who enjoyed joy and he engaged with the people around him in a way that fostered that feeling. He will certainly be missed for the way that he could fill the gaps in a room with that gregariousness.

My first memory of Joel was on his wedding day. I was taking his cousin Brad Haggard to be at his favorite cousins wedding and after the ceremony Jole and Katie opened an invitation to the reception. (I was not invited and was just going to attend the church ceremony) he was so kind and caring. From all the amazing things I have been told from Brad, Jole was the good one of the family and you can see that. Especially when I saw him look into his wives eyes as they said there vows. From. That day on he has always had kind words for me and I will alway remember him for that. He loved Katie and his boys so much and that love will never go.

I have too many to list. He was a well-behaved, thick haired, smiling, He-man cartoon loving, great baseball playing child. A charismatic, kind hearted, hard working, great husband, father and son. I could go on, but you get the point! HE was a terrific man. JOEL, you will be missed. I will see you again one day in Heaven. I love you.
