I was fortunate enough to work for Joel in the late eighties. I remember working a near 19 hour day to move NAPPCO from one corner of State street to another because he supposedly bet someone a dollar that it would be done before the weekend was over. It´s a great memory that I think about often.

Joel, Thank you for that fateful call. You were my soulmate. A man of high principles and together we shared the love of God, family, humor and each other. I will miss you more than words can express. Love you Joel from here to Eternity. Rae Ellen Beale Wilmsmeyer

I was lucky enough to work with Joel and got a chance to see what a great man he was. I used to address him as "God Father" and he used to laugh.
We had good time when I visited CA on work couple times.
He was a real friend to me at work and someone I won´t forget. I reached out to him on many occasions to get some clarification on work related issues.
He was a great asset to Sigma during his tenure at CA warehouse.
May the memories of his wonderful personality and many contributions be celebrated by all.
May his Soul Rest In Peace.

Helping you rebuild that lightening fast Datsun SRL 2000, and then spending the evening as you ate entire gallons of ice cream while Chris and I wondered why you didn´t gain pounds. You were a great neighbor.

You and Chris were the BEST neighbors I have ever had. You stepped in as grandparents for my kiddo. Who had countless sleepover with Mia. They have so many memories. I knew if I had a bad day I could go across the street with my wine glass. Chris always had box wine, you would eventually go get something so we wouldn´t just drink dinner. Christmas, New Years, power outages, random movies, the list goes on and on. You will be so missed. I know you are with Chris and happy and that makes me smile. I also know you are with my Daddy and I will see you all again. Until than I will hold my memories close.

My first memory of Joel was when he walked into Napco/Baker in 1984 with his son David in his arms, a smile on his face and said hello I am Joel and I will be working here. From that day forward I learned so much from him and even after he retired I could reach out to him anytime for advice.
He was like the father I didn´t have, you will hear so many people say the same thing. His kindness and belief that everyone deserves a second chance was heartfelt.
He called me about 3 years ago so excited that he found a Mustang like his wife Chris use to have which he bought and began working on it.
He was a man of Faith and loved the Lord and was never afraid to reach out for prayer. The Lord brought him home and now Heaven is blessed with a wonderful man.

He helped me paint my 73 dodge van. I used to race around on motorcycles with him and David Evans. Great times and memories!!

I met Joel when I was 15, as his son´s friend. Ever since, when I would walk in to his home, he would joke that someone left the door unlocked again. I´m pretty sure he was joking, but knowing Joel´s dry sense of humor, I could never tell. Growing up in a tumultuous household, I sought refuge at Joel´s quite a bit. Joel would always help me with whatever project or fix I needed.
One time in our youth, Josh´s dirt bike got stolen and he had an idea where it was. Josh and I walked up the street and Joel came with us, armed with a cellphone, ready to take on whatever conflict was about to happen. The dirt bike was where he thought, and nothing occurred, but Joel was ready for anything.
He taught me more than I can put into words. He influenced the man I am today and I will always remember him.

Joel when I was new at Sigma you made it abundantly clear that you were there to help in any way I needed. 22 years later I´m still grateful for you being there. Rest in peace my friend!

I have known Joel many years. We both worked for the same company. We constantly had jokes and picked on each other our sarcasm and banter would make some people think we didn´t like each other. He was my friend and I will always remember him and I miss him. Rest in Peace Joel, you are in Gods hands.

I met Joel because he graciously let his daughter Tiffany's friends (me) come over individually and in a group to have epic sleepovers with hours long monopoly games, hilarious songs and dances, lots of snacks and summer swimming! He adored his wife, Tiffany, 3 brothers and I am overjoyed at reading of his faithful love for the Lord! A life well lived...Jesus is saying, "Well done, good and faithful servant! P.S. Tiffany has her Dad's eyes!

My first memory of Joel is in Navy boot camp in 1964. From that point on we were lifelong friends. I will miss you always, my brother.
