I am so grateful that I had the opportunity to meet Joella through a mutual friend in Texas: Dr. Catherine Macneil. Although we only met a few times, it was clear that Joella was a wise woman, a strong and faithful friend -always ready for new learning, travel and adventure. She delighted in sharing from the wealth of her experience.
She now brings a new dimension -raises the bar, if you will, among the communion of saints.

I had just arrived in Windsor. Two weeks later, i went to church ( St Ann , Walkerville) I met that beautiful lady, just like my grandmother. She was very respectful. After the mass, she asked me where i lived and she gave me a ride. Since that day, i was so charmed by her intellect and her humility, just like a mother or grandmother and her child. I am so grateful for having a grown educated woman, generous and humble friend like you...
Ohh Joella, i wasn't there during those hard moments in your life : forgive me. Rest in peace my Friend.... You wished me the best, i'm in a good shape and my professionnal life is growing. Thank you for all the advices.

So sorry to read of the death of Joella. She was a remarkable woman, mother, teacher, humanitarian and friend. Our best memories of her is her time spent in Romania sharing her knowledge and expertise. May God comfort your hearts and grant you peace.
