Joesph Selby Obituary
J.D. was the beloved husband of Suzanne Jean Upton Selby and a nurturing father to J. Talbert Selby (Renee), Julia Clark (Ron), and Mary Elizabeth Boyle (Dan). He was also a cherished grandfather to T.J., Kaelaeh, Adriana, Erin, and Emily. He was preceded in death by his father, Paul Selby; mother, MaryEllen Runyan; and sister, Paula Ellis.
Educated at Kemper Academy and Ohio University, J.D. was known for his warm and loving nature. He was deeply committed to his family, often sacrificing personal time and resources to ensure his children and grandchildren had every opportunity to succeed.
A private celebration of J.D.'s life will be held for family members. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to "Paws," an organization close to J.D.'s heart, reflecting his love for animals.

Dad will be greatly missed by all of his children and grandchildren. When all his children graduated from College, he gave us a Bronze Hot Air Balloon symbolizing that we could be and achieve anything in life, we can go as high and our opportunities are limitless. Thanks Dad for all your good advice. We are so grateful and appreciate all your love and devotion. May you rest in peace. You will be missed and we love you.
