To Mackey: I have always kept "Hannah" in my heart because we have been separated for many miles but never parted! She really kept her health issues secret from me so I wouldn't worry I'm sure but the news of her passing really hit me hard last year. I always hoped I would once again be in Alabama and be together once again. I know it must be hard for you but talk to her frequently.......I know I do! My sympathy to you Mackey and hope you are doing well. Shirley Larson

Hanna and I were co-counselors at Skyland Camp for girls when we were 16 and 19. We took our cabin of campers on an overnight on the banks of a
bubbling brook near the camp. We all loved each other and had such a
good, laugh out loud, terrific time together at Skyland Camp in 1958. I will forever love and remember Hanna and hope to be reunited in Heaven with her!

Johanna was like a sister to me. We met at Skyland Camp in Clyde N.C. in 1958.
We were fast friends and have kept in touch for 65 years. Anytime I made it to
any place in the south I made sure to find Hannah. I just talked to her recently when Hap died and had no idea her cancer had returned. My deepest sympathy to her daughter Mackey and to her brother as well as all her friends. My heart is broken. Shirley Larson, Richland, Washington
