Gudrun GIFFEN

GIFFEN (Aberlady, formerly Stockholm) Fred and all the family, would like to thank all relatives and friends, many from Sweden, for their kindness, support and generosity, following the sad loss of our dearly loved Gudrun. Special thanks to Rev. Christine Clark, for her moving and memorable words, first at Mortonhall Pentland Chapel and later at the Service of Thanksgiving, in Aberlady Parish Church. Many thanks to the choir of Aberlady and Gullane, helped by Swedish visitors, for their excellent singing of the Swedish Anthem "Harlig Ar Jorden". Special thanks to consultants and staff at Western General Haematology Department and Dialysis Specialists and nurses at Edinburgh Royal Infirmary, also our Aberlady GP, nurses and carers for looking after Gudrun at home. Thanks too, to Wood and Hay Funeral Directors. Generous donations resulted in £975 to Myeloma UK and £420 to Kidney Research.
