Dear Kerry, Pat, and Billy, I would like to share a few of my favorite memories of your dear Mom, may she rest in peace.
Aunt Joannie was one of my "many favorite aunts". Some of my fondest memories of Aunt Joannie are when she lived with us in Tobin Court. She provided our home with our first stereo and I could not wait for her to home from work so we could sing and dance to her latest new records. She loved to dance! She introduced me to Motown, Diana Ross, Martha and the Vandellas, The Marvelettes, Dionne Warwick and Connie Francis. She taught me to to the Twist, attempted to teach me the Jitterbug, and the Limbo Rock. Along with her then boyfriend Billy (Uncle Bill) took me to my first drive in movie, first burger at MacDonalds, and first horse race. Their wedding was my first and I remember being in such awe of her beauty and loved watching her dance. I am so grateful for so many memorable "firsts" with Aunt Joannie, she was very much loved by our family.

God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow. Joannir was a lovey lady and was my mom´s roommate for a bit at Regal Care.
