My respects. I know my parents were not the nicest to you(nor anybody else for that matter) after all these years, but Iwanted to say rest in peace, only the best between us.

My sympathy on Coach's passing, and my compliments on the energetic life well portrayed in The Boston Globe. As John achieved significant heights in baseball, the impact he had in sharing his passion for the game as a Little League coach should not be overlooked. This member of the 1969 Waban Colts, undefeated and city series champions, is very grateful.

Although I'll miss my Uncle John, I still have my Aunt Koula, my cousins Peter, Marcia, Robert and their beautiful children to remember him by. I know that, He is with my own Dad (Artie Poulos) now, whom I still miss to this day. Whatever they're doing, I'm sure that they are enjoying themselves, and that we will all see them both again in time. My love to you all. Billy

I was saddened to learn of the passing of a man that so positively impacted my life through a combination of his teachings while I was a student at B.U.in the 1950's and the friendship that we enjoyed. Despite little or no contact over the past 30 years I have often thought about John and his family and whatever happended to the rabbit I brought for Peter on our way home from a project at Mt. Washington. My deepest sympathies to the Alevizos family. I can ceartainly appreciate the loss you must feel.

We have many happy memories of our time in Waban watching our children grow-up together. We also remember how much John enjoyed his involvement in baseball whether it be little league or the big league.

At this time we wish to extend our deepest sympathy to the family.

John was a very memorable man. I appreciated his wit, intelligence, perserverance and astuteness--my mother, Claire, and I luckily had a lot of patience. I am happy to have known him and his family. My sincere condolences. He and Claire are having a reunion in Heaven--good luck to the others there.

I have many fond memories of you especially talking about baseball. One of my first jobs was sweeping the parking lot of the norwood shopping center. Why didn't you hire me to manage the red sox or braves?

I remember Professor Alevizos was one of my favorite teachers at Boston Unversity's School of Business Administration around 45 years ago. He was so personable, enthusiastic and giving. Imagine, after all these years I still remember him.

Dad--

You have reached so many of us with great love, support and guidance. You are and always will be the apple of my heart -- and we will always have you on our shoulders and carry on and make you so very proud as we are so very proud of you. You are at peace and always in our hearts and greatly loved and admired. I miss you already --- I love you to the moon and back. Your one and only daugther, Marcia xxxxxxx
