I grew up with John,went to school with him and worked at A.O.smith with him.A super great guy with a great smile.John often worked on my car to help me out.He had a heart of gold and i'm truly blessed to have him as a friend.he will be greatly missed by his family and anyone who knew him

John Allen was a kind good man. I met him and Sandy as we were all helping Darlene with various needs. He will be missed a lot. I am so sorry to the entire family. My prayers are with you all. Verna Kauffman

Every time I walked by John while he was working, he acknowledged me with a smile...of course he had to stop his pleasant whistling so he could do so. What a gentleman.

I grew up with John, worked with him several times since A.O. Smith. John smile was contagious and refreshing. He was someone that you could count on time and time again to get you a pat on the back or a hard time but always with a smile. I considered him a true friend and a blessing to all.

I worked with Virgil at Parsons back in the late 80's/early 90's. A nicer guy I've yet to meet. So sorry to hear of his passing. Condolences to his entire family.

I worked with John back at AOSmith in the 60's/70's. He was a great guy and fellow employee. I am deeply sorry for the loss.

John was my best man when I got married back in 1979. We were close friends for many years. As years passed we drifted apart even though we lived only 8 miles from each other. I now regret not staying in touch and especially not being there for my friend during his hardships. I have so many good memories of John and his passing is hard to believe. I will pray for all his family and friends who now have to adjust to life without him. I am sure he will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him. Rest in peace my friend.

He was a great dad and a great man. I will miss him every day. He worked very hard to take good care of us. I will miss his warm smile, jolly chuckle, and kind nature. I was blessed to have known him. He also made the world's best popcorn. Love you Dad.

Grandpa John will be missed by Gabriella and Jack, and we were blessed to have John in our lives. Always smiling, biggest heart, best welder ever and always said "I am going to tackle this" when he faced life's challenges. May you rest in peace Grandpa John, and we will miss you always.
