John Almstead

John and I we are managers at a Land Rover Range Rover dealership for many years. In my 40 plus years of highline automotive retail, with literally hundreds of coworkers spanning multiple dealerships throughout the country, I have never, ever encountered a man of such high quality, integrity and pure love as was within John. Learning of his challenges... I cried for days. I am so blessed that I got to tell him exactly how much he meant to me.

I only met John briefly at Amanda's father wake several years ago, but if he was as good a man as he was a father at raising Brett, he must have been wonderful person and will be greatly missed. My condolences to all of his family and friends.

I had the pleasure to work with John at Mt Kisco Land Rover. A true gentleman, top notch retailer, and always good for a laugh. What we discovered was John worked for my dad's best friend Gene Montague at Union Carbide
