Harkey Darkey To John. I worked with John At A and A Auto Parts in Moosic Pa in 1971-1972. Then the Flood of 1972 hit and I was loaned out to Keystone South where the Flood was. John would always Drive me Crazy saying Harkey Darkey. I just home from the Air Force met a Girl in Old Forge. But John was a Peach >Sorry for writing Late I never Forgot Him or Harkey Darkey after all these Years. I am in Bethlehem Pa. Family email me

Neil, Mary Ellen, Ann Marie and family,
My sincere sympathy for the loss of your brother, John. I knew him as "Uncle Johnny" through my friend, your nephew, David. I will always remember him as a jokester, animal lover and a genuine person. May he rest in peace.

My deepest sympathy to the family of John Alteri. "Johnny" and I shared many good times together in our preteen and teenage years as part of the Bromley Avenue group. He was a true friend and companion; I'll never forget the fun times we spent together during our growing up years. I'll miss you John.

Sincerely,

Neil M. Fogliani

John will forever be known as Harkey Darkey to me! I worked in the auto industry for years with him...he was a great mentor to me during those years and was a source of endless information about everything automotive to me. He was also a really fun guy to be around. Many fond and funny memories! Rest in Peace Harkey!
