My family and I would like to extend our sincere condolences to the family of John Amos. It is so sad that the world has lost another excellent actor who graced the cinema screen and television. There is no doubt that he will be missed by all who knew him personally and professionally. "Sorrow" is too small a word for what you're going through. There's not a word deep enough or wide enough.
Please know that God keeps all those who have passed on in death in his memory because all are precious in his eyes. And may the God of all comfort grant the Amos family the peace needed as you continue on the journey of life.

What a loss! Gotta love John Amos. What a talent he had for acting. Watching the TV miniseries "Roots" all those years ago really had a lasting impression on me. Lots of great people in Roots but the two that standout the most were John Amos and Lou Gossett Jr., they were both amazing. In 2024 many celebs have passed on including Lou Gossett Jr., but what an impact, John Amos.

My very first time seeing stellar Actor John Amos, was when he played the character Mr. Evan´s, on "Good Times"; a struggling, dedicated, hardworking, husband and family man trying to earn a living to survive the projects and Handyman Bookman; followed by other Roles which seem to exemplify his true personality. Also, I follow @shannonamos on Instagram; seeing him dance with daughter and likewise, Daddy´s girl, Shannon and spent shared moments with his son. I truly enjoyed him in "Roots". His work here is complete so now I pray that he R.I.H.P.. My Sincerest Condolences to The Amos Family
