May you rest in peace John. What I remember and miss was your wonderful witty and dry sense of humor. You could always be counted on to give us your view of whatever was going on. Miss you

I worked with John at Mass Eye & Ear. I will miss running into him on the 8th floor. Last time I saw him, I told him I planned to retire soon. He congratulated me & told me I am going to love it. I wish he got to enjoy his retirement longer, but God knows best. RIP John.

John is my former roommate from JP and was very pivotal with helping me get sober nine years ago. He was a kind person and loved his friends, family and cats. He will be missed.

My sincere condolences to the Anderson family and the many friends of John. I think of John every start of spring (his birthday) and how he gave me the courage to be me! John, while we didn't see each other frequently - you were a wonderful friend. Rest in peace. Dana (Perkins) Dahl WHS Class of '71

John was my angel. That is how it felt when he arrived to work for me roughly 10 years. He helped me keep my hectic life in order. Everyone at Mass Eye and Ear remembers John so fondly. He will be sorely missed by all and I will always remember him.
My deepest condolences to the Anderson family.

Kathy, I am so sorry for your loss. You were a good sister and eventually happy memories will replace your sadness.

John and I were great friends in high school. He just lived around the corner from my home on Outlook Road. I was his math tutor but we did lots of other fun things together. He always seemed able to get the car. He taught me to ride the roller coaster at Revere Beach and actually enjoy it. We went to the Brockton Fair, Salisbury Beach, and to a party held on a plane--the first time I got drunk I have to confess. We stayed in touch a bit through Facebook. I remember him fondly and am saddened to know he is no longer in this world. With great sympathy, Susan Montague
